Wedding Trends: What To Expect In 2025

Wedding Trends: What To Expect In 2025

The wedding scene is always evolving, and we’re absolutely loving some of the new trends that are shaping the way couples celebrate their big day. Here's our take on what's trending for the 2025 wedding season.

Food Trucks & Grazing Tables

While formal sit down dinners have long been the traditional norm, many couples are now opting for a more interactive and relaxed dining experience, and traditional meals are being replaced with innovative grazing tables and food trucks.

Bright Colour Palettes

This one we love! While pastel colours have long been a wedding staple, bold and vibrant colours are making a stand in 2025. Think bright pinks, blues, and striking oranges. Whether it’s in the flowers and decor, or bridesmaid dresses, we think this trend is here to stay.

Small & Intimate Weddings

The trend of inviting everyone from distant relatives to acquaintances is well and truly on its way out. Smaller, more intimate weddings with close family and friends allow for a personal and meaningful celebration, and can also help save on costs. A win-win, we say!

Mix-And-Match Bridesmaid Dresses

While matching bridesmaid dresses are still popular, we’ve noticed more brides are having a bit of fun and opting for mix-and-match dresses that allow each bridesmaid to express their individual style and colour in a way that’s comfortable for them.

Multi-day Celebrations

Multi-day weddings are becoming popular with couples opting to extend their celebrations over the course of two or three days. Whether it’s kicking it off with a welcoming party the day before, or a brunch and activity the next day, it’s a great way to soak up more time with friends and family, and truly make it an unforgettable experience.

Backyard Weddings

While destination wedding weekends are still hot and happening, there's no place like home! There's something special about getting married in a place that’s familiar, all while having the freedom to play around with decorations, layout, and the overall feel. It’s also a great way to keep costs in check.

We’re looking forward to seeing what the 2025 wedding season will bring, from food trucks and bright colour palettes, to opting for a multi-day celebration, couples are redefining what it means to celebrate love and we’re excited to see it play out.
